Attendance ChallengeOur District began an attendance challenge this year. "Strive for Five" is our logo in which we encourage students to be in school all day, everyday, ready to learn. We know that some absences are beyond parents control. But we ask that you strive to keep absences less than five per semester. Attendance is important. Missing just two days a month can dramatically affect a child's ability to learn to read. For Quarter 1, we had 416 students who met the attendance challenge with no more than 2 absences or tardies.
